Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item(s) to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached. 

To start a return, first create an account with La Mère Village ("Account" next to the cart icon). Click on the order in which you would like to access and then "Request Return". From there follow the steps.  

If you are unable to request a return through an account, you can contact us at customercare@lamerevillage.com. Include in the e-mail which item(s) you would like to return, along with your order confirmation number. Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label which is a $5.00 flat rate. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We take every measure to assure you receive the right item(s) in perfect condition, but we do understand there are always exceptions in life, and we are fully committed to an excellent customer service experience.  

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). ALL ITEMS MARKED FINAL SALE CANNOT BE RETURNED.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, simply make a separate purchase for the new item you desire. 

Refunds
We will notify you via email once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to.
